Before the departure of our guitarist and drummer in late 2019 we recorded 3 demos. Here is two of them. I just thought it would be sad for these songs to never see the light of day. Unfortunately, a guitar was out of tune during recording - so be aware and sympathetic of this.
Sometimes is a song that Hell Average performed for a very long time but it never made the cut onto any of our releases. It's fun and upbeat song that considers what it would be like if things had worked out differently.
Sunrise is the heaviest song Hell Average ever wrote. It was written towards the end of the band as we battled to continue to merge our love for different genres. It was really fun to explore different musical elements and complex time signatures and really show what we were capable of as musicians. I think it really encapsulates the direction Hell Average was going and is one of the best songs we wrote.
I know it has been years, but it feels like a nice closure to finally put theses up for you all to listen to. If you have read this far here is a little inside that on the 1st of June I will be releasing Hell Averages final song ever to finish up the project completely.
